Delete an Oshik account

This page is for users of the Oshik app on Google Play. The account belongs to the parent.

How to delete the account in the app

1. Open Oshik and sign in as the parent.
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap the More tab.
3. Scroll down to Delete account (danger zone; not «Sign out»).
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Read the warning. Deletion removes the family journal, including linked children, with no restore.
6. Type DELETE in the box, then tap Confirm permanent deletion.

The account and server data are deleted immediately. You are taken to the sign-in screen.

A child cannot delete the account. The parent removes a child from that child's screen, or deletes the whole parent account as above.

What is deleted

• The parent account
• The money journal
• Linked children
• Journal balances, requests, tasks, and goals
• Device pairings

We do not hold bank money - only records. Cash at home does not change.

When

Immediately when you confirm deletion in the app. There is no extra retention period.
